Motors Wired4246 viewsI wired the motors to the Z2K using 4/0 cable.
Notice that I don't like exposed High Voltage connections. Couldn't do much about the 1000A shunt though.

Zilla Mounted4244 viewsThis shows where the Z2K Controller is mounted.

Motor and Transmission4226 viewsHere is the full drive assembly. Both Impulse 9 motors, transmission and transfer case.
We are going to lift it into the truck from the bottom.

Central Wiring area4122 viewsThis is where most of the control wiring will be.
It's not done yet in this photo.
The meters are the AC Amps and Volts for the PFV-50 input.

Control Wring (part 2)4075 viewsThis is what's under the top board of the control wiring. This is where most of the big parts are located.
PFC-50 plugs, DC-DC converters, fuses for pack voltage accessories, etc...

Battery Box Fiberglass4024 viewsThis is what the bottom looks like after being fiberglassed with a single layer of fairly heavy chopped mat fiberglass with Epoxy resin.

Front Battery Box plywood4013 viewsThis is the box that sits in the Engine compartment. It will hold 6 GC batteries.
I still have to insulate and fiberglass it.

Battery Box shaping3987 viewsAs you can see, I had to shape some of the corners to fit the rounded parts of the truck bed.

Battery Box Bottom Insulation3955 viewsThe insulation on the bottom of the battery box is permanent, and will be encased in the fiberglass.
It's 2" (1.5" actual) foam board.

120V, 20A charge port3855 viewsAs you can see, it has the sideways prong to only allow a 20A rated cord to plug into it.
I'll carry an adapter for those times I need to plug into a 15A or less outlet.

Front Battery Box mounting frame3835 viewsSince the front battery box can't just sit in a nice pre-built holder (i.e. the bed of the truck), I had to build a support framework for it.
This box will hold 6 GC batteries.
